Akshay is a Chartered Accountant with over eight years of practical experience in the field of Auditing, Finance, Taxation & Transfer Pricing. He is a founder and head of TransPrice, an entity focused on providing Advisory, Compliance and Representation services in the Transfer Pricing domain.
Akshay has been associated with Bayer Group of Companies in India as a part of Transfer Pricing and International Taxation team of Bayer operations in India.
He has also been instrumental in advising the Bayer group in India and globally on the various aspects of Transfer Pricing and International Taxation in Pharmaceuticals, Agro Chemicals and Chemicals, Engineering, IT and ITES sectors. He has led multiple tax planning initiatives and strategy implementation for the group.
Early in his career, he was also associated with PwC and Ernst & Young, where he has serviced high net worth clients in the field of accounting and taxation.
He is a regular contributor to articles on issues and cases in Transfer Pricing. He is also associated as a specialized tax faculty with Pinnacle Education, where he contributes back to his profession by molding careers of many CA students.
Currently he serves a host of clients in various sectors like iron and steel, pharmaceuticals, information technology, media and entertainment, travel etc.
Uday has more than 30 years of professional experience, specializing in the field of taxation.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Uday has held the position of Senior Tax Partner at KPMG, Non- Executive Director of KPMG India Governance Board till March 2014 including head of Taxation for KPMG till 2012, before venturing out as an independent and specialist taxation and foreign investment advisor since April 2014.
He specializes in international tax, transfer pricing, foreign investment consulting and exchange control regulations. He has substantial experience in these matters and assisted many foreign companies, MNCs and large Indian business houses on tax and regulatory matters for over 30 years across various industries, i.e., IT, Telecom, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, etc.
Prior to joining KPMG, he was earlier Partner and Head of Tax in RSM & Co., Chartered Accountants, India. Before that, he was a Senior Tax Partner at Andersen India.
He was nominated as a leading Indian Tax Adviser by Euromoney in 2010 and 2012.
Over many years, he has worked/interacted extensively with Central Board of Direct Taxes and Regulatory bodies in making representations to them on important international and domestic tax issues.
He is an active member of the India profession and has presented papers and made presentations in India and overseas at various business and professional bodies including Bombay Chartered Accountants' Society, Western Regional Council of ICAI, Chamber of Tax Consultants, IFA, CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, etc. He was also one of the co-authors for Transfer Pricing Manual (1st edition) published by Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society.

Ajit is a Chartered Accountant with LLM in International Taxation from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and has over 25 years of experience in corporate and international tax.
Ajit has specialized in litigation in domestic tax, international tax and in particular transfer pricing matters at the level of ITAT, Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP) and Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals).
Ajit, an Ex-IRS officer of 1990 batch, in his last positions, as the Commissioner of Income Tax (Income Tax Appellate Tribunal) was the Department’s Counsel in Mumbai during 2012 to 2014.
Ajit was a partner with BMR & Associates, a Chartered Accountant firm during 2014 to 2016.
Ajit was a partner with KPMG for a short stint in 2016 when he moved to take care of family business in the space of infrastructure. Having put the systems in place and set the ball rolling for the IPO, Ajit has joined back the profession and is arguing before the ITAT at Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
Ajit has argued over 400 cases in Tribunal at various locations during his tenure as CIT(ITAT) which include many landmark cases viz. Maersk Special Bench, Capgemini and Willis.
Cases argued by him involved taxpayers from various industries. Ajit has argued over 100 cases wherein taxpayers are involved in provision of IT/ITes and Investment Advisory services.
Ajit also represents on behalf of taxpayers before the Advance Pricing Agreement Authority, Dispute Resolution Panels and Commissioner of Income-tax (Appeals) [‘CIT(A)’].
One of his major achievement has been succeeding in getting adjustment deleted having tax impact of INR163 crores by successfully arguing before the CIT(A).
Ajit has argued some landmark cases viz. Hapag, Fedex, Shell, Lionbridge, Carlyle, Evonik, Goldman Sachs, HP entities, etc. by representing the taxpayer and succeeded in getting favourable outcomes.
Ajit has also argued number of stay petitions before the Tribunal.
